For the last ten years, Eddie Hall has dominated the Strongest Man competitions in the UK, Europe and the World. Born in Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire, Eddie was always going to be a successful sportsman and was a competitive swimmer and Rugby Union player during his teenage years. Whilst working as a mechanic, he trained and competed as a body builder before entering the strongman circuit.
He won England’s Strongest Man in 2010 and 2011 before winning the UK’s Strongest Man in 2011, 2012, 2013, 2015 and 2016. In 2017 he won the World’s Strongest Man competition and to date he is the Deadlift World Record Holder at 500kg in competition.
Throughout his professional and personal career, Eddie acknowledges the struggles he has faced when it came to the foods he consumed in order to become the strongest man in the world.
